To enhance your core logging process with Lumo Scanner, you only need electrical power, an internet connection, and sufficient space in your core logging facility.
Lumo Scanner is a drill core scanner designed for end users – you feed the core boxes from one end, and they come out from the other.
The height of the scanner can be adjusted to match to your logging tables seamlessly.
Scanning time for a core box depends on the scanning resolution. Typically, scanning takes about 6 minutes per meter; uploading the data to the cloud takes about 12 minutes per meter scanned; and data processing in the cloud takes about 6 minutes per meter scanned.
The scanner has hatches on both ends, so it can be easily integrated to logging workflow. You feed the core box from one end, and it comes out from the other, ready for manual logging and sampling.
Lumo Scanner is a compact Class 1 laser device which can be shipped by air freight. On the ground, it is transported in a van to even the most remote locations.
Lumo Scanner has been designed so that the scanning resolution and swath width can be adjusted based on customers’ needs.
Scanning resolution refers to the area covered by a single 25 micrometer measurement point when creating images.
The resolution can reach up to 30 micrometers, yielding images similar in quality to those produced by MLA.
